HARDWARE by Jayda McTyson

Camille Moyston has managed to put the nightmare of a violent attack behind her. Having forged a safe, predictable life, the last thing she needs is a cliché, oversexed Jamaican male expressing interest.

For Quinn Mayhew, life is too good to waste time chasing a haughty, irritable woman who is too cautious to accept him for the man he is, but somehow she symbolizes everything he desires in his future.

When Camille's inner fortress finally starts to crumble, Quinn is arrested for murder and everything changes...

It's 2006, and the US is submerged in the Iraq War quagmire.

Theodore Kolinovich, an educated and well-informed citizen, looks on with dismay while battling his internal demons and tragic past. The obstacles before him loom large, and Theodore must fight like hell to try to save his life and sanity.

Impulse is one man's journey, but also a universal one, questioning even gravity, seeking reason in the breeze swirling to rustle an autumn leaf.

  3. Congrats and happy release, everyone!

Are these stand-alone titles, or are they part of a series? Did you do anything special to celebrate these releases?

  5. Thanks for the comment, Jen. There are many chilling elements in Cold Blooded. The novel combines many aspects I love reading and love writing: characters that haunt me with dialogue years after I've given them voice, humor, violence, and gray areas of right and wrong where good doesn't necessarily triumph without a little help from the dark side. :)

  7. Kelley, in Enchanted Meadow I see on the cover that the beautiful woman is not thin and waif looking but more Rubenesque. Did you decide to make her more luscious looking on purpose? I think it's great that authors betray women looking more human instead of anorexic.

  8. Hi DeNita, Thanks for having us today. Congrats to all the other authors and their new releases.

The Enchanted Meadow is a short, erotic fantasy romance. I decided I wanted my heroine to be a tree faery because I am fascinated with tree faery lore. My faeries are not the tiny Tinkerbell type faeries, but are human-sized and usually shape-shifters.

Hope everyone is having a nice Monday. I am going to check out some deals on Amazon for Cyber-Monday.

  9. Patricia, here are three of the links I used along with history references:

    http://www.usmarshals.gov/witsec/index.html

    http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Witness-protection-program

I also read every interview I could find done with US Marshals, such as the one with US Marshal Frederico Rocha. Thanks much for the interest.

  11. Looks like a nice group of books. How do you decide what to release when?

  12. Hi Debby,

Thank you. Sometimes, it depends on the subject how it ties to a time of year. Most often, though, it comes down to when the editing/proofreading has been completed. Once the books hit that point, we start talking about release dates.
